Health In Your Hands was born as a project conceptualised during the World Government Summit 2017 SDGs in Action lab. Over the last 3 years, the project evolved into a global coalition of organisations and institutions working to achieve universal health coverage, with a focus on those left furthest behind. 

 

Cross-sector collaboration is key to building an initiative that is relevant and financially sustainable. Multiple stakeholders whose missions align with the stated purpose and deliverables, as well as countries where health services for those left furthest behind can help achieve sustainable development have been engaged. HIYH contributes to the creation of an ecosystem where governments, as well as impact investors and the private sector, place health and wellbeing as a top priority.
